What you decide

You decide what matters. Raphael handles the rest.

Getting work done should not turn you into a manager of technical work. With Raphael, your part is small and clear. You make the decisions only you can make. Planning, building and checking the work stay with Raphael.

Raphael's app on a computer, on the Activity tab of this website's project. It reads: the latest work on this project, newest first; each entry says what happens next, so you only step in when Raphael asks you to in Decisions. The newest entry, on Monday 2 November 2026, is the review for correctness and security of the website rebuild: work finished, completed. The entry before it says the work stopped and needed attention, and that Raphael retried it at your request.
The same project on a phone, on the Overview: All 26 done, a button Tell Raphael what should change, and Raphael's summary of where it stands: all approved work is complete and nothing is open or needs attention.
You only step in when Raphael asks you to. Everything else is already written down for you.

01 · In the app

What you see in the app

You see your work in one simple app, written in plain words. It shows you three things.

  • Your original request, in your own words.
  • The important steps that are waiting for your approval.
  • The finished results, explained in plain words.

The app is not only for approvals. Your request and your results are there too.

Nothing in the app asks you to understand technical details.

02 · Your decisions

What you decide

  • You decide what you want.

You describe it in your own words, and Raphael works from that. When something is unclear, Raphael asks you instead of guessing.

  • You say yes or no to the important steps.

An important step can need your approval at any point along the way. When it does, Raphael explains it plainly so you can decide.

  • You decide whether the result is what you wanted.

If you want something changed, you say so in plain words, and the work starts again.

03 · Not your job

What you never have to manage

  • You never have to use task boards or keep track of who is doing what.
  • You never have to make technical choices.
  • You never have to decide who does which piece of work.
  • You never have to hire or manage developers.

Planning the work, building it and checking it are Raphael's job.

04 · Why

Why it is set up this way

Your time is best spent on the decisions only you can make: what you want, what you approve, and whether the result is right. The work itself, and the checking of that work, stay with the team set up to do them. That way you stay in charge without being pulled into the work.

If this is the kind of help you want

Tell Raphael what you would like done. A few plain sentences are enough to start.
